About the Course
Introduce the student to the Italian language. Teach basic communicative tools that are useful for everyday interaction in Italy. Learn strategies and techniques that facilitate the learning process.
Specific skill acquisition outcomes – the student will be able to:
– sustain a basic conversation with native Italians and interact in standard situations (at the post office or train station, etc.),
– write simple texts such as short letters or notes and
– read plain materials.
– A proper usage of past and present tense is the most important grammatical goal.
