About the Course
This course is designed for students with little or no previous knowledge of Indonesian, formerly known as Bahasa Indonesia. It provides beginners with a basic level of communicative competence in Indonesian language. Indonesian the third most-spoken Asian language and among the few to use the Latin alphabet. With Indonesia emerging as one of the powerhouse economies of the 21st century. Focuses on developing basic speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. Students are introduced to the sounds and structures of the language, learn core grammatical concepts, and are exposed to relevant aspects of Indonesian culture and society.
