About the Tasawwuf Course
The concept of Tasawwuf in Islam has become one of the most debated and discussed issues in recent times. Covered without correct scholarly guidance, the course has seen different conclusions develop and reprehensible traditions and innovations root themselves within society. This course Tasawwuf (تصوّف) is a wonderful opportunity presented for the 1st time learning to truly appreciate the great benefits and merits of this path, and will dispel many misunderstandings. Tasawwuf, Sufism and Tazkiyah in the light of the Qur’an, Sunnah, the lives of the sahabah and their companions.
The ultimate goal in this temporary life is to attain true servitude of Allah. One must constantly exert great effort in order to reform themselve. And until they become fully obedient to Allah and become one of His beloved. This is achieved by perpetually being engrossed in different types of worship such as Zikr (remembrance). and sending salutations on our beloved Prophet (may Allah bless him and give him peace) Tahajjud. And other optional salat, fasting, reciting the Holy Qur’an, abundantly seeking forgiveness from Allah and much more.
True worship creates a special light of guidance and insight in an individual. and which allows them to taste the real sweetness of Imaan. It strengthens a person so they are able to shun evil and refrain from all types of wrongdoings, transgression and sin.
